Women's Ministry: MORNING Bible StudySTARTING SEPTEMBER 12TH 9:30am-11:30am // McClintocks (B100)
Sermon on the Mount. What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? The Sermon on the Mount articulates what the life of a Christ follower should look like, asking us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? This semester we will be going through Jen Wilkin's dvd series on the Sermon on the Mount. In this study, we'll examine the words of Jesus in-depth as He challenges us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification. There will be weekly homework to guide you through the Scriptures on your own, then we'll come together to discuss and hear the teaching. Registration is $15. Please note: in order to secure enough childcare workers, children's program for birth through kindergarten is by PRE-REGISTRATION only. Email Melissa Anizor ([email protected]) for more information or register below!Register
Women's Ministry: EVENING Bible StudySTARTING SEPTEMBER 12TH 7pm-9pm // Room B200
This study focuses on the transformation of Christians by the power of the gospel. A key goal will be to move the truths we know beyond our “thinking life” and into our “doing and experiencing life” as we focus on the cross of Jesus Christ and our union with Christ. Join us as we examine our need for Jesus and the blessings of our new identity in Christ, and seek to understand how those gifts move us outward to share the gospel with others. Our time together will be simple - discussing our insights from the Scriptures and praying for one another. Registration is $15. Email Melissa Anizor ([email protected]) for more information or register below!Register
